NXT Takeover Brooklyn 4: preview, match card, predictions and more

NXT Takeover Brooklyn 4 is live this Saturday night and its shaping up to be another historic Takeover in Brooklyn

Summerslam week is here and the best event of the weekend will be live this Saturday as NXT returns to takeover Brooklyn for the 4th time. NXT Takeover Brooklyn 4 is headlined with the 3rd chapter of the Ciampa and Gargano saga and this time is will be a last man standing match for the NXT championship.

Every NXT title is on the line Saturday night and every match on this card is looking to be a good one.  NXT PPV events will be kicking off at a new time for now on. The pre-show will start at 6pm E.T and the main card will go live 7pm E.T. below I have the matches on the card plus my predictions for every match.

Velveteen Dream vs EC3- A rivalry that hasn’t be brewing for very long between these 2 but this is a match that could steal the show. Velveteen Dream has proven he is main event worthy while EC3 is looking for have a better go around in his 2nd stint in the WWE. We have to believe that the winner of this match will make claims to the #1 contender’s spot of either the North American title or the NXT championship. Even though Velveteen puts on great matches, he is normally on the losing end of big matches but Saturday I think all that changes. I’m taking Velveteen dream over EC3.

Winner: Velveteen Dream

Undisputed Era vs Mustache Mountain (NXT Tag Team Championship Match) – These 2 teams have given us memorable matches every single time they have stepped in the ring and this time should be no different. The bad part about who wins this match is that the War Raiders (War Machine) are waiting them. I think this match will end in a double DQ. It’s really too early to take the titles off of the Undisputed Era and a triple threat match between the Undisputed Ear, War Raiders and Mustache Mountain  at NXT War Games sounds really good to me right now.

Winner: Double DQ by War Raiders

Adam Cole vs Ricochet (North American Championship Match) – Every takeover have that match that has you talking from the beginning of the night to the end. Consider this match the tone setter of the night as I’m hoping it’s the opener. I’m really split between these 2 because Adam Cole and Ricochet are very popular in NXT so picking a winner would be hard. For Saturday to be the 1 year anniversary of the arrival of the Undisputed era It’s really hard to think anything will spoil that night except for Ricochet and with that being said I have Adam Cole retaining the gold with a little help from Bobby Fish.

Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler( NXT Women’s Championship Match)- As much as I am a fan of Shayna Baszler, her time as NXT Women’s champion is about to come to an end. Shayna is most likely going to get called up and I surely hope it leads to a feud with her friend Ronda Rousey as I think they could have a really good feud on the main roster. The match should be a good one and I’m only saying that because of their match in the Mae Young Classic finals. Kairi Sane will win and go on to carry the NXT women’s division.

Winner: Kairi Sane

Tomasso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano (NXT Championship match – Last man Standing match)-This is definitely a match of the year candidate as their in ring chemistry is on Super Saiyan god level. I don’t believe this will be the end and as much as I would love to see Gargano as champion, Ciampa is the best heel in the game and WWE should ride his coat tail for a couple more months. I have Ciampa being the last man standing but I think Black will have something to do with the finish of this match.

Winner: Tomasso Ciampa
