Under the radar teams
Nobody expected the Pacers to be as good as they were last year especially since it was the first year with Paul George. Victor Oladipo showed everyone that he can be a star in this league and the Pacers as a whole showed the world in the 1st round of the playoffs that they are a threat in the east. The addition of Tyreke Evans gives the Pacers one of the best 2 way back courts in the entire league. They will fight you to the end and if more players get involved on offense to take a little pressure off of Victor then we might have another serious problem on our hands.
I’m not sure how far we are until Giannis is the best player in the league; he is another player who is a jump shot away from being more un-guardable than he already is. With new coach Mike Budenholzer bringing his spurs like mindset to a very talented Bucks team we should definitely see a lot more ball movements and other key scorers get involved. Giannis and Middleton lead the way as the Bucks 2 top players and with some consistency from the rest of this team on both sides of the ball they could try and make a deep run in the playoffs next year.
Wall already feels that the Wizards are just as good as the Raptors and the Celtics. I’m not sure what it is about the Wizards. They take 2 steps forwards and then 5 steps backs the next season. They either get very close or very far. They can compete with the best in the East but even I’m not sure what will help this team get over the hump. Dwight Howard was a good addition even though many think he is washed. We just have to see what happens with this team this year.
With LeBron gone out west what teams do you think will snatch the Eastern Conference Crown?
