Warriors or not Lebron is still leaving the Cavs at the end of the season

The sports world is once again set ablaze but this time no one got traded or had a spectacular game, this time it was a rumor. Yesterday ESPN writer Chris Haynes sent the sports world into frenzy with his latest article. He reported that league sources have told him that if the Warriors could clear cap for then LeBron would be interested in the warriors and set up a meeting. Twitter went crazy and it was just news everywhere but it wasn’t long before the King silenced the critiques on the issue at hand.

“Its nonsense, and it’s a non-story, I think it’s a discredit to what I’m trying to do here. It’s a discredit to my teammates and the coaching staff here. My only focus right now is trying to figure out how we can become a championship-caliber team in these next few months. It’s been so many stories about me in the last few months, in the last few days, about where I’m going and where I’m at and what place I’m in.”

“I’m here, I’m right here, I’m right now and this is my present and this is where I’m at.”

It’s pretty obvious that this Cavs team is playing well below expectations and there is a lot of backstage heat going on between the players, coaches and everyone. LeBron’s kingdom seems to be falling. I don’t think that this team can be saved even in a couple of months but it really doesn’t matter. Warriors or not LeBron is out after this season. He also went on to let the reporters know:

“If you don’t hear something coming from my voice, then it’s not true,” he said. “I don’t give a damn how close they are, I don’t care if it’s my kids, or my wife or whatever. If it’s not from me, it’s not true. I just want you guys to know that my focus right now is on the Cavs and how we can get back to the Finals for a fourth straight year. That’s my focus. And everything else is going to get talked about, but it’s not a distraction. But like, I think it’s just unfair to my teammates that come here every day. I mean, I can handle it myself. But it’s unfair to those guys.”

LeBron handles the media so well but one thing that stood out and made me laugh more than LeBron did when he saw the rumors was when he said:

“If you don’t hear something coming from my voice, then it’s not true,”

Hey LeBron I completely understand, you are your own best source of news but for some reason I find this really hard to believe. The one thing that you do right is keeping your composure and handling the media well. You stay in the here and now and handle all the other aspects of basketball in the offseason but no, that comment cannot be true. It’s been too many times where you didn’t say anything but sources seem to have it right. Brian Windhorst for example has been following LeBron since high school and seems to know his every basketball move. He called it when LeBron went to Miami and called it when he came back to Cleveland. Before this season started he insisted that it is a high possibility that LeBron was heading to LA and LeBron has already made it known that he is not committing to the Cavs.

We don’t hear a lot come from LeBron’s voice but for someone reason a lot of the rumors stem to come true. LeBron going to LA is more than just basketball; it’s a business move and it very likely. LeBron has homes in Cali and he is all about the money. So I think that he will listen to Golden State if they try to make him an offer but either way it goes, Warriors or not LeBron is leaving anyway. It maybe nonsense now but it won’t be at the end of the season. Whether LeBron goes to another NBA finals or not the news where will he play next will be his biggest story until The Decision Part 3 is made and that’s the bottom line because FOEtastic Matt said so!!!!!
